Ultimate X Poker Bonus Streak -- Example
This page shows ten consecutive hands to illustrate the rules of Ultimate X Poker Bonus Streak. Please click the preceding link for an explanation of the rules.
In game 1, I was dealt a three of a kind on the deal, which improved to a full house after the draw on the top two hands. Based on five coins bet per hand (not counting the extra five-coin per-hand fee to invoke the Streak feature), my immediate win was 30 credits each for the top two hands and 15 credits for the three of a kind in the bottom hand for a total win of 30+30+15=75 credits.
In Jacks or Better, a full house earns a bonus streak of 2-4-8-10-12 on the next five hands. The three of a kind earns a bonus streak of 2-4 on the next two hands.
Note how each hand in game 2 has a multiplier of 2X, as shown in the large font in the multiplier streak to the left of each hand. I was dealt four to a flush on the deal. Unfortunately, none of them developed to anything, so my win was 0 and the three 2X multipliers were wasted.
Here each hand started with a 4X multiplier. My low pair from the deal developed to only a three of a kind on the top hand. Based on five coins bet, a three of a kind pays 15 credits. After applying the 4X multiplier, my win is 4×15=60 credits.
Also note how the remaining future multipliers for the top hand jump from 8-10-12 to 12-12-12, because when you earn multipliers on a hand that already has a multiplier, the rest of the multipliers jump to all 12's. This increase does not apply to the hand that initiated the multiplier increase.
In this game I was dealt an ace, which improved to high pairs on the top two hands. Fortunately, these hands had multipliers. A high pair pays 5 credits per hand. In addition, the top had a multiplier of 12X and the middle had one of 8X. So, my total win is 5×12 + 5×8 = 100 credits.
In this game I had nice big multipliers of 12X on the top hand and 10X on the middle one. Unfortunately, I got nothing on all three hands, so my win was was 0.
In this game I had multipliers of 12X on the top two hands. My high pair developed into a three of a kind on the top hand, a two pair on the middle one, and remained a high pair on the bottom. At least the hand that didn't improve was the one without a multiplier. A three of a kind normally pays 15 credits, a two pair pays 10, and a high pair pays 5. With a 12X multiplier on the top two hands, my total win was 12×15 + 12×10 + 5 = 305 credits.
The three of a kind also earned a multiplier streak of 2-4. Since this was the last hand in the previous streak, the new multipliers start a new streak.
In this game I won nothing. A 2X multiplier on the top hand was wasted.
In this game I got a three of a kind in the bottom hand for a win of 15 credits. My 4X multiplier in the top hand was wasted.
The three of a kind earns a multiplier streak of 2-4 for the next two bottom hands.
In this game I got a high pair on the top hand, with no multiplier, for a win of 5 credits. I got a three of a kind in the bottom hand, with a 2X multiplier, for a win of 2×15=30 credits. My total win was thus 5+30=35 credits.
The three of a kind normally earns a multiplier streak of 2-4 but because it already had a multiplier, the remaining 4X multiplier jumped to 12X.
In this game I got only a two pair on the top hand. It had no multiplier so my win was 10 credits. Unfortunately, my big 12X multiplier on the bottom hand won nothing.
The next game, which isn't shown, would have had no multipliers.
At 30 credits per game, the price for these 10 games would have been 300 credits. The total return was 610 credits, half of which came from game 6. Thus, my net win for these 10 games was 310 credits.
