IGT Software & 95 Casinos Reviewed
Since 1975, International Game Technology (IGT) has served as a major player in the land casino industry. The company developed slot and video poker machines that became popular, and the company exploded due to the quality of these games. I can’t think of any casino that I’ve walked into that doesn’t feature IGT games in some capacity, and it’s likely you’ve encountered them at some point.
The company began offering online slots in 2005, many of which are based on their most popular land slots. You’ll find titles based on Wheel of Fortune, Monopoly, Cluedo (Clue for American punters), Battleship, and other licensed brands. You’ll also get a bunch of titles based on IGT’s proprietary games like DaVinci Diamonds, Wolf Run, and Pharaoh’s Fortune.
In 2015, IGT was purchased by Italian betting group Gtech, and was subsequently folded into the operations of the latter. Gtech was keen to take advantage of the IGT brand name, and they have taken the mantle, giving IGT an even larger global presence.
IGT offers the same popular games you find in land-based casinos for online casinos. The graphics, sounds, and game play all seem exactly the same. They offer many choices, the screenshots you see here are just some examples.
As with the physical games, the returns are configurable, so you are mostly on your own with that. As an example, Baywatch 3D can be set to anywhere from 92.54% to 96.25%.
IGT is one of the largest betting companies in the world, and if you’re playing in a regulated market, there’s a good chance you’ll come across the company’s online slots. The games are audited for fairness, and despite some of them looking a bit dated, IGT games are well worth your time.
